Delivery of Medical Services to Rural Communities

I would like to extend my congratulations to my great friend from medical school, Dr Rolf Gomes, for his work on the heart bus.  Rolf has worked tirelessly and has made significant personal financial sacrifice to develop a means of delivering cardiology services to rural communities in Queensland.   The journey from concept to delivery was documented on the ABC program, Australian Story, last night.   Hopefully funding of the heart bus continues so that Rolf can continue this great service.   He is an inspiration and his program deserves recognition.
