Knee Surgery
A knee replacement is a procedure aimed at replacing part, or all, of an arthritic knee joint depending on the pattern of wear. The aim of this surgery is to significantly reduce pain, improve knee range of motion and restore quality of life.
Shoulder Surgery
Total shoulder replacement (TSR) is the third most common form of joint replacement after the hip and knee. It is used to treat painful arthritis of the shoulder and is generally very reliable in alleviating pain and improving motion.
Hip Surgery
Hip replacement is an extremely reliable operation that is used to alleviate the pain and disability that results from an arthritic hip joint. It involves replacing both the ball and socket. I do this procedure via a minimal incision posterior approach.

Luke completed his medical degree with honours at the University of Queensland in 2001, following undergraduate studies in physiology and pharmacology. He has worked exclusively in orthopaedics since 2003, with advanced training focused on hip and knee replacement, shoulder surgery, spinal surgery and trauma. Over his career, he has performed several thousand joint replacement procedures.
Luke works privately at the Maroochy Private Hospital on the Sunshine Coast where he is actively involved in registrar training, research and ongoing professional development.
